NON-PROLIFERATION TREATY
Non-proliferation treaty was an agreement internationally to disarm and prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and technology. This treaty went into effect in 1970 with a total of 190 parties that signed it. Five countries recognized: United States, Russia, Great Britain, France, and China. More countries have ratified the non-proliferation treaty than any other disarmament agreement, verifying its relevance and importance.
